WebJul 13, 2024 · Hello, I am the lucky owner of a pair of ADS L1230. I like the amplitude of the sound-stage and the tone is very balance with a sweet, soft and well defined mid-high. What I am missing is definition on the low-end. I feel like the bass is not as punchy as I would like and in general I perceive some sort of sluggishness at the lowest frequencies.

WebGreat score! My current bedroom system has L1090 towers which has similar drivers. They aren't super efficient but that's why I have a big amp. Not sure about the L710s but my L1090 tweeters had gummy ferrofluid so the highs were a bit off. Redid the ferrofluid with an ebay kit and someday I'll investigate a recap job.
