WebJun 11, 2010 · Thanks Fred, i needed a reference spec to measure from, the 65 shop manual section 8-20 states that .045 is the minimum amount of stock to remove from a flywheel before replacing it . so i guess you would need to measure the flywheel in 3-4 locations then take an average thickness and subtract from that to see how much stock …
