WebI have noticed that most days my left ankle is swollen whilee my right ankle is perfectly normal. I am 47yrs old, male smoker 6' 300lbs but other wise very strong and in good health. I also noticed that the swelling is not affected by temperature, walking or other activities. There are also times when there is no swelling at all and no apharent change in activity.
